Who we are

THEYERS GROUP LTD is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17430330. Information you provide

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the information in your message and any other details you choose to provide. Please do not include health information or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, understand your business requirements, assess whether we can help and discuss a possible engagement. We generally rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests and developing relevant commercial relationships. Where you personally request steps towards a contract, we may rely on taking those steps at your request. We may retain information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Who can access it

Sam Theyers handles enquiries through Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes information to provide the email service. GoDaddy provides website hosting and may process technical information needed to operate and secure the site. We do not sell enquiry information or automatically subscribe enquirers to marketing communications.

International processing

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we use the applicable protections for those transfers.

How long we keep enquiries

For enquiries that do not lead to an engagement, we normally retain personal information for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then delete it. We may delete information sooner when it is no longer needed. If an enquiry develops into a client relationship, relevant information becomes part of the client record and is subject to a separate retention schedule. We may keep limited information longer where required by law or needed for a legal claim.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use external analytics or non-essential cookies. If that changes, this notice and any necessary consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
